The Lone Goose Shiraz

The Lone Goose is a Shiraz Viognier blend sourced from Block 4 (clone1654) Shiraz and co-fermented with Block 1B Viognier (clone Montellier) within the Schubert Estate vineyard located in the sub-region of Marananga in the Barossa Valley.

Colour: Dark purple deep core with garnet rim.

Aroma: Fragrant blueberry, blackberry, red plum and lavender awaken the olfactory senses. Hints of red liquorice and star anise try to rise above the abundant fruit aromas.

Palate: Seductive blue and black fruits coat the mouth surfaces. Cigar box and spicy oak flavours compliment the dense fruit flavours. The 3% Estate grown Viognier adds highlights and another dimension to the already complex wine.
